Just add the items you want to purchase in the cart, and then fill in your information in the Checkout.
Only then you can see the final price of your order.
Shipping cost will be calculated from the DHL API for the specific time. It is normal to get a slightly different price if you want to place your actual order a few minutes later!

If you have an EU VAT number, it will remove the vat automatically, you must choose Professional Invoice for this to work. If you are outside EU, there is no VAT but you should still select between Retails Receipt and Professional Invoice.

Do you ship to my country?

We ship with DHL globally. The only way to see if DHL can deliver to your address if there is a special situation like war, weather etc.,is to add the desired products to the cart, and then fill in your information in the checkout. If the delivery to your address is possible, DHL API will show the cost, depending on the specific products and the shipping address. The shipping address and the billing address cannot be different, due to tax regulations.

Aavailability?

We do not have Rotrex Kits in stock, due to the warranty policy. Rotrex accessories are always shipped from stock.

The unit must be installed on the car within 6 months from the production date, for the warranty to be valid.

Orders containing a KIT, are shipped directly from Denmark. This is our standard policy for KITs. With every customer order containing a KIT, we forward the order to the production line, and either a freshly built unit is available, or a unit is made for the customer. Most often, an order is shipped within approximately 1-4 days. Thus, the delivery time mostly depends on the production line in Denmark. At the time of this writing, UPS is being used for shipping, but DHL or another company of this quality may be used, depending on the availability for the location and the time of the order. If time is essential for the delivery of your order, contact us before ordering, and we will get back to you with a shipping date estimation provided by the production line.

Orders of accessories only (anything without a Kit), are shipped from our locally kept stock. All items mentioned as “in stock” are actually available to ship immediately. We use UPS and have verified next day delivery to most European countries, like we announced in this post (click here to read it).

What is the discount-for-return program?

If you have a failed unit outside the warranty period, you can get a new Rotrex kit with a discount-for-return claim.
Rotrex must inspect your unit and decide whether they can offer a discount-for-return.

Here is the typical process. Rotrex production will tell us if your serial number is eligible, and finally approve a discount-for-return. Note that the discount can be used for any Rotrex kit you want to choose, it can be different from the one you return!
You should expect approximately 47.75% discount on standard prices, or 34.69% on our prices since we have great discounts on our eshop.

Please, read carefully all the details, make sure you understand and agree, before you take any action.

Steps:
1. A CCF is submitted via https://www.rotrex.com/about-rotrex/ccf/ (Fill in your information for all fields, except in the email field use our email: info@rotrexshop.com so we can serve you promptly).
2. Rotrex claim team will review the CCF.
3. Rotrex claim team will respond to us, and we expect that they will announce that the serial number is eligible for discount-for-return and ask to get the unit back for inspection -since this has happened to 100% of the cases. If your unit is stolen it will be rejected.
4. We will let you know that the supercharger can be returned to Rotrex in Denmark (*The Return Process and Address are found below).
5. When the supercharger is received by Rotrex, the claim team will perform an inspection and approve the unit for discount-for-return.

Understanding this part, can ensure that sending a failed Rotrex unit back to Rotrex is worth the trouble and expense.
If this is a standard unmodified Rotrex supercharger, the approval is certain. An approval is not given if Rotrex technicians discover that a unit has been disassembled, refurbished or in any way put together using non Rotrex components or put together using scraped/scavenged parts from different units, if you have hit the unit with a hammer, or in general if you have not followed the proper way of handling and using your Rotrex. We have had 100% approval on the discount-for-return claims.

In short, if this is a genuine purchased unit, it will be approved, especially if you have also followed the proper usage and handling rules. If this is a unit which has been disassembled, modified or been damaged during a accident, or if you are not sure where it came from because you bought it used, do not bother sending it.

Please note!! Defective superchargers returned to Rotrex for warranty inspection remains at Rotrex and will not be returned (please see “Rotrex sales & distribution policy”).
In case the claimed unit is returned for testing and concluded not to be faulty, a testing fee of €200 + shipping and handling will be added to the return order.
In case of supercharger failure, always make sure the entire oil system is replaced before installing a new supercharger.

*How to send the unit back to Rotrex.

Be sure to pack the supercharger carefully with the flat surface facing downwards, plugged oil and hose connections. Do not place the supercharger on the compressor housing with the impeller facing downwards. Further information for claim returns can be found in the current Rotrex sales & distribution policy and technical handbook.

Please leave the original pulley fitted onto the claimed supercharger. Do not remove the pulley.

Which Rotrex model is suitable for my car?

On a specific car or engine you can use multiple Rotrex models, depending on your project details. The best way to go to get advice from your mechanic and, of course, use our Rotrex calculator found here.

Does Rotrex offer a complete or bolt-on kit for my car?

The officially offered Rotrex kits are generic and they are not complete for a specific car. The best way to go is to assign this to an experienced mechanic or tuning house, not only for the installation but also for the decision making. Maybe you can just check what others have done with this engine, which Rotrex models they use and what output power they get. You can also use our calculators, found here:

Please note that we only sell the Rotrex officially offered items in our e-shop, so you must get all the rest parts from other providers. The mounting bracket is an example of a part that is not included in the standard official Rotrex kit. Thus, we only sell the generic Kit which Rotrex offers, not a bolt on kit and not a complete kit. You need to find a tuning house or a mechanic that will take up the installation to the specific car and the engine adjustment, as well as provide more parts that are needed. We suggest that you choose a pulley ring mounted onto the unit and at least a 10 row oil cooler, but this is optional. Check the product page for the available options. Add the product to the cart and proceed to the checkout page, it will then get the price live from DHL API the moment you enter your billing & shipping information. If you have a EU VAT#, you can ask professional invoice and use your vat number to exempt VAT. If you are outside EU, there is no VAT.

Your order will be sent to you directly from the production line in Denmark. This is our standard policy for KITs.

I am trying to pay with my Card but the payment fails. What is wrong?

The most common reasons for a failed payment with a Credit or Debit Card are two:

1. International Payments or Overseas Payments is a feature card holders need to enable. Usually this is solved easily if you ask your card issuer to enable this feature.

2. Card limits. It is also common to exceed the card’s limits when trying to purchase a Rotrex kit. Again, your card issuer can solve this if you ask them.

However, please note that you can pay with a Bank Transfer. You can place a new order with the same items, and choose Bank Transfer in the Checkout.

Oil system position?

Please note!! C15s are using a long life seal that requires the oil system to be placed lower than the supercharger! For more information please see the Rotrex Technical Handbook and other information available in our website. The main reason for these requirements regarding cooler/canister placement is due to the seal type found in the C15 range units. Hence the C30 can accept the higher canister placement if not possible to place below. It would still be highly recommended to place cooler and canister below the supercharger for all C-range products, however it can sometimes be very difficult to achieve. Placing the canister above the supercharger can cause oil drainage if there is a seal leakage in the supercharger, so it is very important for the customer to frequently check the oil level.
